Connecticut Governor Proposes Property Tax Credit

Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont announced a legislative proposal to restore a property tax credit. The credit amount would be capped at $200 and would be available to homeowners and individuals with registered vehicles. The credit could be claimed on taxpayers’ tax returns. The credit is currently limited to seniors over the age of 65 or those individuals with dependents.
