Maryland Governor Proposes Tax Cuts, Business Incentives

In his 2019 State of the State address, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan outlined several proposals for corporate and personal income tax relief, including:

– tax cuts for retirees;

– incentives for businesses to provide paid parental leave;

– tax cuts for college graduates;

– tax breaks for small business owners;

– opportunity zone incentives; and

– incentives for hiring, job training, and workforce development.
