Missouri Voters Legalize, Tax Marijuana for Medical Purposes

Missouri voters approved a constitutional amendment that:

– legalizes marijuana for medical purposes; and

– imposes a 4% tax on retail sales of marijuana for medical use that are sold at medical marijuana dispensary facilities in Missouri.

These provisions are effective December 6, 2018
