Arizona Voters Approve Ban on New or Increased Taxes on Services

Arizona voters approved a constitutional amendment to prevent new or increased sales and use taxes on services.

What Taxes Are Covered?

The constitutional amendment prohibits new or increased taxes on services by:

– the state;

– local governments; or

– other political subdivisions.

The amendment applies to any new or increased tax on services that was not already in effect on December 31, 2017.
