  • The Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards contained in the 2nd Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200 – 2CFR200
  • Chapter 3 of the Yellow Book, including a new framework for independence with conditions, remediation, and safeguards

If you’re wondering what’s included, consider the following enhancements:

  • Links to TeamMate Analytics throughout the AUD-800 series programs assist the auditor with analytical procedures beneficial to the audit process.
  • Enhanced instructions and procedures throughout the toolset improve workflow.
  • Reorganization of multiple areas within the Audit Programs increase efficiency as well as improve workflow.

  • Activity-level control forms, have updated subprocesses and activity-level control objectives throughout all the KBA-403 series workpapers.
  • Users can document a separate benchmark and rule of thumb percentage not used in the KBA methodology, thanks to changes to the benchmark/rule of thumb percentage table in KBA-301 Worksheet for Determination of Materiality, Performance Materiality, and Thresholds for Trivial Amounts.
  • Lastly, new comments table in AUD-100 Engagement-Level Tailoring Questions document any information you want to capture related to tailoring.

In addition:

  • Audit recommendations from AICPA’s Audit and Accounting Guide: Revenue Recognition is incorporated. This includes several new revenue related steps in AUD-803 Audit Program: Patient Accounts Receivable and Net Patient Service Revenue.
  • There are new tips for the new proposed statements on auditing standards and new finalized FASB standards. This includes Omnibus Statement Auditing Standards, 2018.
  • A new “example planned response” to Management Override of Controls in KBA-502 flows to the AUD-800 series. Modify this in the risk pane for the Financial Statement Level Risk of Management Override of Controls. Additionally, when modified, the user should base the modification on the specific audit.
  • To assist users whose clients have adopted the new Revenue Recognition Standards, a new RES-027 Controls Related to FASB ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customer – Five Step Model is included.
  • AUD-915 Audit or Interim Review Program: Auditor Involvement with Exempt Offering Documents based on AICPA Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 133, Auditor Involvement with Exempt Offering Documents is now available.
  • AUD-910 Audit Program: Specific Element, Account, or Item of a Financial Statement in Accordance with AU-C 805 is now available. It is included for auditors performing engagements under AU-C 805.
