Oklahoma Amends Small Employer Quality Jobs Incentive

Oklahoma legislation changes the eligibility requirements for Small Employer Quality Jobs Incentive Act incentive payments. The legislation increases the initial employment threshold for applicant companies to 500 full-time employees. The previous initial employment threshold was 90 full time employees.

Projected Minimum Employment Requirements

The legislation also changes the projected minimum employment requirements.

Establishments located in municipalities with less than 3,500 people must have a projected minimum employment equal to the greater of:

  • five jobs; or
  • 5% of the company’s full-time employment at the date of application.

Establishments located in municipalities with 3,500 – 6,999 people must have a projected minimum employment equal to the greater of:

  • ten jobs; or
  • 7.5% of the company’s full-time employment at the date of application.

Establishments located in municipalities with more than 7,000 people must have a projected minimum employment equal to the greater of:

  • 15 jobs; or
  • 10% of the company’s full-time employment at the date of application.
