Maine Introduces IRC Conformity Bill

The Maine Senate introduced a bill that would update Maine’s Internal Revenue Code (IRC) conformity date to December 31, 2017. The change would apply to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2017.  The current conformity date is December 31, 2016.

IRC conformity applies to corporate and personal income tax rules.
