Wolters Kluwer Offers New Live Tax Conference Series

New Live Series Brings the Clarity and Expertise Needed for the Coming Tax Season

(NEW YORK, NY, October 31, 2017) – Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting has announced a new series of live tax conferences led by industry-leading tax experts. Offered by CCH CPELink, part of Wolters Kluwer, these live conferences provide continuing professional education (CPE) to accounting and finance professionals, combining the knowledge base of the tax and accounting industry’s top thought leaders with the efficiency of web-based training methods to deliver the most effective way to meet mandatory CPE requirements and keep up with the latest industry changes.

CCH CPELink LIVE Conferences will provide in-depth and up-to-the-minute coverage on Business and Individual Federal Tax Updates in select metro areas. These all-day sessions will discuss recent events and major provisions of upcoming or enacted federal tax legislation, important rulings, the evolving political landscape, and much more.

Additionally, the new, eight-hour federal tax update webinar series focuses half a day on the latest developments in individual taxation and half a day on the things tax professionals must know to complete partnership, S corp, and C corp returns for 2017. This fast-paced program will highlight legal and regulatory developments as well as provide an up-to-date look at what is going on in Congress.

“The beauty of live webinars from CCH CPELink – in addition to the expert content delivered by industry leaders – is the flexibility it offers for professionals,” said Josh Braunstein, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting, Research & Learning US. “Professionals seeking continuing education can either come to one of our new live sessions, or log in remotely from anywhere. We’re making it very easy and convenient for people to get CPE.”

Live webinars allow tax professionals to:

  • Listen to a knowledgeable instructor present a live broadcast
  • View PowerPoint slides synced with the presentation
  • Download all materials associated with the course ahead of time
  • Ask the instructor a question via “chat”
  • Earn CPE credit without taking a test
  • Receive certificate of completion immediately following the event
  • Have access to the archived webinar for up to three months after the live event at no extra charge

All attendees of the live conference and webinars will be provided free access to the CCH CPELink Compliance Manager, making it easy to monitor CPE deadlines and mandatory requirements. The Compliance Manager includes CPE tracking and compliance monitoring for CPAs in every state (including Puerto Rico) plus Certified Management Accountants (CMAs), Enrolled Agents (EAs), Registered Tax Preparers (RTRPs), Certified Financial Planners (CFPs), CTEC Registered Tax Preparers (CRTPs), Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs), AICPA, and PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) members.
