New Hampshire Corporate Income Tax: Tax Rate Reductions Clarified

The New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration has issued a technical information release clarifying that, for taxable periods ending on or after December 31, 2016, the business profits tax rate is reduced to 8.2% (currently 8.5%) and the business enterprise tax rate is reduced to 0.72% (currently 0.75%). For taxable periods ending on or after December 31, 2018, an additional rate reduction is possible if state revenues hit certain levels. Legislation enacting the rate change was reported previously.
