CCH Sales Tax Office Certified by SAP for Integration With SAP® ERP

Delivers to Customers a Comprehensive, Robust Certified Solution for Sales, Use Tax Needs

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., September 3, 2009) – CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax, accounting and audit information, software and services, announced today that its CCH Sales Tax Office 2.0 solution has been certified by SAP AG for integration with the SAP® ERP application.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center has certified that CCH Sales Tax Office 2.0 integrates with the tax interface of SAP ERP. Through this certification, CCH provides customers supported, high-quality sales and use tax solutions that are also “SAP Solution Manager Ready.” Therefore, Sales Tax Office can be registered in a customer’s system landscape, which eases system landscape support and optimization.

“We are excited to offer companies using SAP ERP tax integration with our Sales Tax Office 2.0,” said Scott Gruchot, vice president, Advance Technology with CCH. “The certification of our Sales Tax Office system with SAP ERP will provide our customers with a comprehensive and robust solution for their sales and use tax needs.”

One of the primary focuses in this initiative is the extension of our CorpSystem solution set and to offer customers proven functionality in sales and use tax calculation and reporting coupled with the highest standards in tax research and authoritative data. The SAP-certified solution reduces the need to apply user exits common to the tax interface that currently creates additional cost to implement. It will also alleviate the need for customization.

CCH has been an authoritative source for tax information since the introduction of the federal income tax in 1913. Currently, it supplies the IRS with the detailed sales tax rate and taxability data used to build tables for average sales tax deductions by income level and jurisdiction.

“We offer businesses both a robust sales and use tax solution in our CorpSystem suite of solutions including Sales Tax Office and Sales Tax Returns Online products, backed by our dedication to providing the most comprehensive research data and tax technology offerings in the industry,” Gruchot added.
