CCH Now Offers Seamless Integration of Sales Tax Solutions with Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., March 5, 2007) – New seamless integration built into the CertiTAX™ product suite from CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, gives users unprecedented time savings as it provides a quick and easy interface between CertiTAX and Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0. CCH is a leading provider of tax and accounting information, software and services (CCHGroup.com) and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for 2006, with demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customers’ needs.

CCH’s hosted CertiTAX application provides real-time address validation and tax calculation based on CCH’s proprietary database of rates and taxability rules covering thousands of products and services.

This release of the CertiTAX Plug-in for AX 4.0 also includes a variety of new features, such as:

  • Support of multiple addresses within a single invoice;
  • Line level nexus determination;
  • Keyword address selection/filtering;
  • Support for the AX 4.0 Sales Quotation Form; and
  • Currency mapping.

“The new CertiTAX integration can save hours of work by allowing an accounting department to manage sales tax for all its customers and products with a single tax schedule,” said Bruce Krumlauf, CCH sales and use tax product manager. A simple mapping of tax categories automates the sales tax calculation process. “Users can activate, install and put their new tools to use with Dynamics AX 4.0 in minutes – with minimal programming assistance from IT or user training,” Krumlauf added.

“There is a strong need for integrated sales tax solutions like the ones offered by CCH that replace the manual process of researching tax rates and rules and the time consuming preparation of monthly returns,” said John Lischefska, vice president of product marketing for Fullscope, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 resellers. “We are also pleased with the support and sales tax expertise CCH has provided our joint customers.”

The CertiTAX Plug-in for AX 4.0 SP1 will be available within the month.
