CCH Expands State Tax Offerings with Acquisition of Vertex® Property Tax Reference Manual

(RIVERWOODS, ILL. February 6, 2006) – CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business and a leading provider of tax and accounting information, software and services, announced today that it has acquired the Property Tax Reference from Vertex Inc.

The Property Tax Reference joins CCH’s authoritative and popular line of state tax online, print and CD-rom products for tax, accounting and compliance professionals.

CCH and Vertex have implemented a transition program under which CCH will begin fulfilling Property Tax Referenceorders and updates in February, 2006 . The product will be re-branded immediately as the CCH Property Tax Reference.
